The winner of the 2023 Leyenda de Plata Tourney is crowned.
At the 7/28/2023 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, CMLL hosted the finals of the 2023 "Leyenda de Plata" Tournament at Arena Mexico pitting Mascara Dorada 2.0 (formerly known as Panterita del Ring Jr) against the CMLL World Historic Middleweight Champion Rocky Romero.
After a hard-fought bout, Mascara Dorada defeated the current member of CHAOS, becoming the 18th-ever winner of said tourney. This is not the first he was familiar with a big win, as he (as Panterita del Ring Jr) held the CMLL National Lightweight Championship for 529 days.
With this win, Mascara Dorada also became the youngest wrestler ever to win the Tournament at age 21. This was the first time the tourney had occurred since 2021 when Titan defeated Templario in the finals.
