Máscara Dorada Wins the 2026 CMLL Universal Championship
Máscara Dorada defeated Black Tiger & Hechicero to win the 2026 CMLL Universal Championship Tournament at the Arena Mexico 70th Anniversary
The World Historic Welterweight Champion managed to defeat Black Tiger & Hechicero. This came after hitting a Shooting Star Press on Tiger to pick up the win.
This becomes the second time Dorada has won the tournament. He previously won the 2024 edition, also outlasting Magnus (Black Tiger IV) & Titan in the finals. He joins Ultimo Guerrero as the only two wrestlers to win the tournament more than once.
