A WWE 2K game mode suggestion from Matt Cardona.
After being let go from WWE in 2020, Matt Cardona is now back with the company as a contracted talent.
There’s an interview with Cardona that was pushed out by SPORF. He shared an idea for a WWE 2K video game and suggested a mode where the user gets fired and has to work their way back to WWE.
“Man, I think there should be a mode where you get fired, then you go and work your ass off on the indies for five years and come back. I’m serious. You go and you wrestle in all these dingy places. Then you go to Japan. Then you wrestle outside at some fair and then you make it back to WWE.”
Cardona is a member of the Friday Night SmackDown roster. He was last in action on the May 8th SmackDown, during which he fell in defeat to Ricky Saints.
