Nyla Rose States That She ‘Definitely’ Wants To Be Back In Action For AEW

Nyla Rose would like to return to the ring for AEW.

Nyla Rose is the second-ever AEW Women’s World Champion and has not wrestled on AEW/ROH programming since a November 2024 episode of the now-defunct Rampage show.

Rose has been competing in Japan as of late. She is one-half of the AAAW Tag Team Champions for the Marvelous promotion and is scheduled to be in action for Dream Star Fighting Marigold.

Rose and fellow AEW talent Thunder Rosa caught up via Rosa’s YouTube channel. A chat user asked Rose who she would like to face if AEW were to utilize her, and she named the current Women’s World Champion, Thekla. Rose went on to add that she ‘definitely’ wants to be back in action for the company.

“If AEW were to use me right now, who would I wanna face? Um, Thekla of course. Get that championship back. Honestly, anybody really…” A chat user wrote that they want Rose back in AEW badly, and Nyla responded, “Aww, that’s so sweet. I definitely wanna be back as well.”

Fightful Select provided an update on Nyla’s status with AEW and noted that she is still under contract.
