Matt Cardona makes his major announcement.
At GCW Take A Picture, GCW GM Matt Cardona announced that he was stripping Blake Christian of the GCW World Title.
Christian was scheduled to defend his title against Joey Janela at GCW Tournament of Survival.
Cardona said that Christian would not make the event due to his participation in NJPW Best of Super Juniors. Since Christian could not make his scheduled defense, Cardona was stripping him on the title and vacating it.
Joey Janela confronted Cardona and said the decision was bullshit.
Cardona announced that Janela would still get his title shot, but it would be in the Matt Cardona Gauntlet of Survival.
