Matt Hardy may need Senior Benjamin to prepare the battlefield as he's challenged Chris Jericho to come to the Hardy compound for an Elite Deletion match.
Hardy and Jericho have been on opposite sides of the coin since Hardy aligned himself with The Elite on the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jericho attempted to recruit Hardy into The Inner Circle, but Hardy had none of it, wanting to delete Jericho. Last Wednesday, Vanguard 1 was sent by Hardy to get intel on Jericho. Le Champion had his shirt stolen and had to release the hounds on Vanguard.
On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Hardy ran down The Inner Circle before challenging Jericho to an Elite Deletion match. Jericho did not answer the challenge despite being on commentary during the night.
