Matt Hardy Promises Private Party More Of Their Paychecks To Motivate Them To Win IMPACT Tag Titles

Matt Hardy wants Private Party to win all of the gold so that he can make more money.

Last week on IMPACT on AXS, it was determined that Private Party will get the opportunity to challenge Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship at No Surrender on February 13th. They earned this opportunity through nefarious means when Jerry Lynn, at the request of Tony Khan, helped them defeat Chris Sabin and James Storm.

This week, Matt Hardy and his two proteges appeared in a vignette backstage where he told them that they need to not only stay focused on February 13 but also on becoming the number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championship by way of the Battle Royal at Beach Break on February 3.

In an effort to motivate his team, Matt Hardy told them that they would be allowed to make more money as long as they stayed focused on winning the gold. For them, this means 50% of their IMPACT and other third-party paychecks and 70% of their AEW pay.

Ultimately, this is still a selfish move from ?Big Money? Matt Hardy as he knows if they make more money, he will make more money.
