Matt Hardy Returns To The Ring At A WWE Live Event In Madrid

The "Woken One" has arisen.

At a September 15th live event in Texas, former multi-time Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy shared that he completed his last advertised live event appearance and it was now time for him to "go home" to his family and that the live event may have been the last time that fans see "Woken" Matt Hardy in a WWE ring. There had been rumblings that Hardy was going to transition over to a backstage role and he addressed those rumors while guest appearing on 'The Ross Report' podcast with WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross.

Hardy has been featured on WWE programming with the 'House Hardy' Halloween special that premiered on the WWE Network on October 28th. It has been three months since Hardy mixed it up in the squared circle but that streak came to an end yesterday at a WWE Live Event in Madrid on WWE's European tour. There was a brawl between multiple members of the roster and Hardy came flying into the ring to join in on the action.
