According to Matt Hardy, he believes this week's episode of AEW Dynamite was not just the best one yet, but the best free wrestling telecast yet.
This week's episode of Dynamite was a first of sorts. It took place at Daily's Place in Jacksonville with no fans allowed with the AEW roster being the only ones in the audience. The show also featured the AEW debut of not just Hardy, but also Brodie Lee as he was revealed to be The Exalted One.
The show was originally set to take place in Rochester, New York, but the coronavirus outbreak forced AEW to make the change in venue and presentation. With all that under consideration, Hardy says this week's episode of Dynamite "was the best audience-free pro wrestling TV broadcast yet."
Hardy showed up after The Inner Circle?s Santana, Ortiz & Jake Hager defeated the team of Cody, Matt Jackson & Hangman Page to get the advantage in the upcoming Blood & Guts match. With Nick Jackson being out indefinitely, Hardy will join Cody, Matt, Page and Kenny Omega in facing The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Hager, Santana & Ortiz) on the next episode of Dynamite.
