Matt Hardy's first post-WWE appearance has been confirmed as he will appear at The Big Event 18 in New York on Saturday, Mar. 7.
The Big Event hasn't made an official announcement on their website or social media, but Fightful was able to confirm the news. The Undertaker and Braun Strowman are also set to appear at the event. You can find more information by clicking here.
Hardy announced at midnight on Monday that he let his WWE contract expire, officially making him a free agent. Hardy said he was on different pages with WWE, citing the need for creative input and feeling he still has something left to give. Hardy noted that he would spend his week watching different wrestling promotions from across the world as he evaluates his future and weighs his options.
It is unknown where Hardy will sign with next. He did announce that he will be releasing the series finale of Free The Delete on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at noon.
