Matt Jackson: Kenny Omega Creates An Atmosphere That No Other Wrestler Can

Matt Jackson comments on Kenny Omega’s recent AEW World Championship victory, noting that no one can create the atmosphere like he does.

At AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, Omega would recapture the AEW World Title, defeating MJF in a bout that if he had lost, he never would have been able to challenge for the title again. Omega would receive an assist from his upcoming opponent at AEW All In, should he retain at AEW Redemption, Will Ospreay in the bout.

While speaking to Undisputed in a new interview, Matt Jackson spoke about Kenny Omega’s recent championship victory, noting that no one creates an atmosphere like he can.

“It was great to see Big Match Kenny do what he does best, he creates an atmosphere that no other current wrestler can. When he’s in his element, there’s this inevitable feeling that you’re about to watch something that’ll be remembered forever. I was just super happy for him, He’s been through so much and to see him come back from a near-death experience to be at the top of the mountain again, it was truly inspiring.”

Matt continued, noting that The Young Bucks’ motive for their upcoming tag match with Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley at AEW Redemption is to show Kenny Omega that The Death Riders can’t be trusted.

“Our motive here is pretty obvious–it’s to show Kenny that The Death Riders aren’t to be trusted,” said Jackson. “Sure, he and Will go way back and have a connection. Kenny was at Will’s wedding. They’ve had wars together. But Will is now a Death Rider. And nobody understands the inner workings of that faction better than us. We worked with them. We’ve been there for the speeches, we’ve been to the meetings. They’re basically a cult. Will could be completely gone, as far as I’m concerned. He’s got the devil in his ear now. And once we finish this business, it’s back to our main goal: the AEW tag team titles.”
