The highly anticipated NXT television debut of Matt Riddle is less than a week away.
On Wednesday's episode of NXT, the company announced that Riddle will make his debut on the Oct. 31 episode.
Riddle was signed by NXT over the summer and appeared in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. He debuted at a NXT live event in Sanford, Florida on Sept. 20, defeating Fabian Aichner in singles action.
The former UFC fighter turned pro wrestler was recently in the headlines as Seth Rollins named Riddle as one of his dream opponents. Rollins said of Riddle, "He's someone who is super talented. He has an interesting skillset, a different style. I'm always intrigued by styles. I'm someone who I feel like I can have a good match with anybody. I'd like to see how Riddle and I's style kind of mesh together."
