Matt Riddle Says He's Here If Goldberg Needs An Opponent, Calls Conor McGregor A Proper Bro

Matt Riddle is ready to step up and face Goldberg if he needs to call a bro.

With Roman Reigns reportedly being out of his WrestleMania 36 match against Goldberg, WWE will need a replacement for the Universal Title bout. And Matt Riddle, who has a long history with Goldberg, is on standby if Goldberg needs him.

WWE Files To Trademark 'MFT'

The beef between Riddle and Goldberg goes back well over a year, but it was one year ago at WWE Super ShowDown 2019 where Riddle called Goldberg "the worst wrestler in the business" after his heavily criticized match against The Undertaker. The two men got into a verbal altercation at SummerSlam 2019, which basically boiled down to Goldberg saying he is not Matt Riddle's "bro."

Riddle was back on social media later in the day, responding to a joke made by Conor McGregor.

A fair play on words by both men in that exchange.
