Matt Riddle now has an opponent for his final Independent appearance at the end of the month.
After Riddle showed up at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4, PROGRESS announced that Riddle's appearance at Chapter 76: Hello Wembley would be his final Independent date. Riddle he last wrestled for PROGRESS for three dates in August as part of their Coast To Coast Tour in the United States. In February, he challenged Travis Banks for the PROGRESS World Title at Chapter 64. He is a former two-time PROGRESS Atlas Champion.
Haskins squared off with former NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate at Chapter 75. He recently won the ROH International Cup defeating Hangman Page, Flip Gordon and Jonathan Gresham across two days. He came up short in his ROH World Title bout against Jay Lethal on the final night of the tour.
PROGRESS Chapter 76 takes place on Sept. 30. The show will be headlined by WALTER defending his PROGRESS World Title against Tyler Bate.
