Catch Point collides at EVOLVE 10th Anniversary.
On July 13, EVOLVE will return to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA for their 10th Anniversary event. And we now know one of the headlining bouts for the event. At tonight's NXT live event in Philadelphia, Drew Gulak issued an open challenge to anyone in the building to meet him at the 2300 Arena for a little competition.
It wasn't long before the familiar face of Matt Riddle popped up on the screen.
The official EVOLVE twitter account and EVOLVE booker Gabe Sapolsky retweeted the video above, making Gulak vs. Riddle all but official for EVOLVE 10th Anniversary.
Riddle and Gulak were stablemates in Catch Point during their time in EVOLVE, but did not team together at an EVOLVE event. They did square off at EVOLVE 51 in 2015 with Riddle picking up the victory. They also went one-on-one on the Feb. 6 episode of NXT, which was another victory by the King of Bros.
EVOLVE should officially announce the match in the near future.
