AEW Merch Design Team Members Laid Off

Mel Coleman has departed AEW.

Fans may not know Mel Coleman in an on-screen capacity, but if you liked the Don Callis paintings over the years, then you know Mel.

On Tuesday, Mel took to social media to reveal that she is no longer an artist for AEW.

“A chapter closed. Thank you for the opportunities and memories. I’m still shell shocked. But wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been supporting not only my journey but my brothers in art. Thank you to the wonderful women and men I’ve met because of this opportunity. I’m in the dark right now and I don’t know what will happen. But Thank you for your love,” she wrote.

Along with being an artist for AEW, she did appear on-screen on the April 8 episode of AEW Dynamite as the woman who took a photo with Andrade El Idolo.

Eric Veszelka (Veszelkadesigns) and Jacob C Paul also announced their time with the company has come to an end as well.

A reddit post implied All Elite Wrestling was parting ways Pro Wrestling Tees, but PWT has denied the claim.

From Pro Wrestling Tees:

‪The person who made the reddit post circulating has no knowledge of our business. ‬
‪Nothing on that post is true except that we unfortunately told some of our contracted designers that we would not need them for as many AEW designs anymore. ‬
‪Some of the AEW designers are still contracted.
Nothing has changed otherwise and we are still fulfilling merchandise for AEW.‬

We wish everyone the best moving forward.
