Mercedes Mone Spoke With NBA Summer League Founder Albert Hall About NBA Summer League Film Festival

Mercedes Mone continues to make moves outside of the ring.

AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion was present for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, and she had a chat with Summer League founder Albert Hall while attending.

“Albert Hall, who founded the Summer League decades ago and invited us, was also great to chat with. Albert started the league purely because he loved basketball and saw that un-drafted, overlooked players could get more attention. Albert is also starting an NBA Summer League Film Festival. He talked to Kev about working on it along with your CEO. I’m all in and will keep you posted. It was also great to talk to Celts VP Alison Feaster about the WNBA, female referees, and the increasing roles of women in sports, which you know l’m a HUGE proponent of,” Mercedes wrote in her newsletter

Mercedes successfully defended her AEW TBS Championship against Nyla Rose on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
