Metallik makes his CMLL Return.
CMLL revealed that Panterita del Ring Jr would be taking the name of "Mascara Dorada 2.0" from now onward, becoming the new wrestler to dawn the black and gold mask. That being said, that was not the only announcement CMLL Made.
On June 14, 2023, CMLL also announced that Mascara Dorada 2.0 would be teaming up with Atlantis and a third partner against Titan, Templario & Virus on the July 14, 2023 show in Arena Mexico. Their third partner was revealed to be none other than the original Mascara Dorada, Metalik.
This will be Metalik's first match in CMLL since November 11, 2016, where he teamed with Diamante Azul (DMT Azul) & Atlantis against La Peste Negra (Negro Casas, Felino & Barbaro Cavernario) in a winning effort Here's CMLL full statement on Metalik's return.

Metalik last competed in a wrestling ring on the 5/24/2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, teaming with Blake Christian & AR Fox in a losing effort against The House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black & Brody King) for the AEW Trios Championships.
