Mike Tyson is once again an auxiliary member of a top faction in North America.
In 1998, Mike Tyson became an honorary member of D-Generation X on the Road to WrestleMania 14. Ultimately, this led to WWE taking control of the ratings war against WCW off-screen but on camera, Mike Tyson swerved Shawn Michaels and actually helped Steve Austin win the championship at WrestleMania.
In 2010, Mike Tyson rekindled his relationship with D-Generation X by swerving Chris Jericho and nailing him in the jaw on an episode of Monday Night Raw.
That interaction was the genesis of Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho’s heated interaction during Mike Tyson's early appearances in AEW in May 2020. However, reappearing on April 7, Mike Tyson would save Chris Jericho from Maxwell Jacob Friedman and The Pinnacle.
As the Special Enforcer during the match between Chris Jericho and Dax Harwood, Mike Tyson once again saved Chris Jericho from The Pinnacle by knocking out Cash Wheeler as though he had just tried to bum-rush Bret Hart at the Hall Of Fame. Because of this, Chris Jericho would name him an auxiliary member of the Inner Circle faction.
