In 2016, Miro married Lana at a beach wedding.
Despite both being members of the WWE roster, not too many wrestlers were invited or attended the wedding. But Miro wanted to make sure Jon Huber (Brodie Lee in AEW, Luke Harper in WWE), was one of the atendees.
Speaking on a Twitch stream, Miro recalled Jon being a guest at his wedding.
"Jon was there. There was not many WWE people or wrestlers at all, but Jon was there. I invited Jon, Ryback, [Dolph] Ziggler, Miz, The Bellas and [Daniel] Bryan. I wanted Brodie there for sure. This was 2016, so I (had) known Brodie maybe four years. He texted me about dressing up, but it was a beach wedding and he showed up perfect," he said.
Miro, as he was looking through his phone, went on to say that he wanted to find more photos of him and Jon. He did find one photo of the two in the ring together, which was going to be Jon's wedding gift to him.
Holding up the photo for everyone to see, Miro said, "For my wedding present, he wanted to give me [a photo from a match together], but for years, he couldn't find the picture. Now that I found it, I'm going to make a nice poster."
Miro said following Jon's passing on December 26, he took a break from social media and people because that's how he handles such a situation, even if it might not be the right way.
