John Morrison had to defend the SmackDown Tag Team titles against one member of The Usos and The New Day and now The Miz has to do the same.
It was announced that Miz must defend the titles against Jey Uso and Big E in a triple threat match on the April 17 episode of SmackDown. All three wrestlers involved in the match next week were left out of the tag team ladder match their respective partners participated in at WrestleMania 36.

Originally, all six wrestlers were to be involved in the ladder match, but after Miz was injured in storyline, the match was changed so that only one member of each team would be wrestling at the show.
Also set for next week is Sasha Banks vs. Tamina. If Tamina can beat Banks, then she will face SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley at a later date.

Towards the end of the show, WWE announced that there will be qualifying matches for Money In The Bank: Daniel Bryan vs. Cesaro and Naomi vs. Dana Brooke. In addition, Sonya Deville will try to clear the air with Mandy Rose.
In other tag team title news, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross accepted a challenge from the duo of Carmella & Dana Brooke, but no date was made for that match.
