The Miz is frustrated with the fans' perception of him and Daniel Bryan.
In an interview with E! News which was later re-uploaded to the WWE YouTube, the Miz went on a rant about Daniel Bryan and their history. He referred to fans being upset that Bryan was the "rookie" to the Miz's "pro" on NXT and claimed he gave Bryan buzz when he entered WWE. He also brought up the United States Championship match Bryan defeated him in at Night of Champions 2010.
"I honestly believe that I am the good guy here but nobody seems to believe that," said the Miz. "Who gave him his first Championship match? Did I ask for a thank you? No...If you remember Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan is the one who started everything. He said I have a soft style of wrestling and he called me a coward," he later added.
Last week, Bryan challenged the Miz to a match at SummerSlam but the Miz has refused that challenge. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for Smackdown and SummerSlam.
