The Miz says Daniel Bryan plays the victim and fans love him for it.
The Miz has stated before how he has changed brands every time there's been a chance since WWE started the latest brand split. Now that he's on Smackdown Live, he has expressed interest in the WWE Championship but has also been feuding with Daniel Bryan. In an interview with Complex, the Miz said he doesn't understand why fans consider him the bad guy.
"The fact that the audience will sit there and look at him as the good guy and so endearing and sympathetic all because he plays the victim so well. I?m not playing a victim here, I?m telling you exactly what I am. I am awesome. I?m the most must-see WWE superstar, I?m proven inside the ring and outside the ring. I?m the best on the mic, I get the ratings," said the Miz. "I should be the face of Smackdown Live," he added.
At WWE SummerSlam, the Miz will be wrestling Bryan in a match which WWE has said is "eight years in the making." Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage, discussion, and a recapping podcast for the event.
