MJF: AEW Is Continuing To Restore The Feeling, I'm Proud To Be At The Helm Of That

MJF is excited because AEW is restoring the feeling.

AEW suffered a significant blow when Adam Cole went down with an ankle injury at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He had been involved in a buzzworthy storyline with AEW World Champion MJF, but the company has leaned on its depth of stars to persevere. In recent weeks, fans have praised the AEW Continental Classic, with some saying that it has restored the feeling.

Speaking on SI Media with Jimmy Traina, MJF commented on Adam Cole's injury and argued that AEW has proven that they have a stacked roster. He also noted that the show has gotten better every week. MJF referenced the "restore the feeling" saying and stated that the company has, and they will continue to.

"Look, my best friend got hurt. Of course, it blows. But with professional wrestling, the show must go on. I feel that we as a company have just definitely proven we have such a stacked, incredible roster, and with me at the helm, the houses are starting to go up again. The show, in my opinion, has gotten better and better every week. Nature is healing. I feel like the company right now, there was a minute there where it felt like we were kind of in this rebuild phase, and I feel like right now, we’re really building some serious momentum. There are fans online that say ‘restore the feeling,’ and I dig that line. I’m pumped because I feel like we are and we have, and we’re continuing to do so, and I’m proud to be at the helm of that," MJF said.

In the same interview, MJF responded to Cody Rhodes saying he thinks fans will see MJF in WWE one day.
