MJF: I Want To Bodyslam The Fat Troll Marks On Twitter Just One Time

MJF is calling out the keyboard warriors.

Very few wrestlers today love to be loathed the way Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) does. While the majority of wrestlers will play nice on social media, MJF doesn't care if he upsets you and will laugh as you cry about it. While he is known for his character work, at the end of the day, MJF is a professional wrestler. He takes the same bumps everyone else does and walks backstage with the same bruises and aches as the next guy.

"The one thing that I wish that the fat troll marks on Twitter understood is, I would love for them to get into the ring and let me body slam them one time," MJF said in an interview with Andreas Hale of Sporting News. "That's it. I don't want to do anything else. Just let me give you a regular, good old-fashioned body slam in the ring. You won't be able to walk for a week. I'm a superman. The fact that I'm able to do what I do is absolutely astonishing. The fact that these fans don't understand that a ring is comprised of steel, metal beams, wood, and a thin sheet mat, and that's it."

MJF is a throwback in the ring. You won't see flips and dives from him in an effort to appease the audience. He would rather grab a headlock and hold on until his opponent passes out. It's part of the reason why he's not a favorite among today's audience. And it's something he feeds off of.

"It makes me sick to my stomach, these fans are so blood thirsty," he says. "They keep wanting more and more, but I'm the one guy that's looking at them straight in the face, and going, 'No. I'm going to sit in this headlock. I'm going to sit in this abdominal stretch. If you guys want to see some cool s-, I don't care. I'm here to get paid, I'm here to win, and I'm here to stay healthy. The fans are disgusting and mindless pigs. They think they know more than they actually do. The simple fact that people in our industry think that they have to answer them, is laughable to me. You are mindless marks, and the only thing that you should be concerned with is watching my rise to superstardom."

A heel 24/7, MJF has quickly become one of the top Independent stars in wrestling and has already caught the eye of All Elite Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes. Over the past couple of months on Being The Elite, Cody has taken MJF under his wing, grooming him to be the next great superstar in wrestling.

MJF will take part in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing where the winner will receive a shot at the currently vacant AEW World Title.
