MJF: Trick Williams Is A Great Guy. Boatload Of Potential
MJF has love for Trick Williams.
MJF topped the annual PWI 500 list, coming off an impressive year where he won the AEW World Title twice during the evaluation period, headlined multiple pay-per-views, and led the ratings resurgence in the company.
At number eight on the list was Trick Williams, who had a breakout year that included winning the WWE United States Title at WrestleMania.
Speaking to Lyric Swinton of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, MJF was asked about the rest of the top ten on the list.
He said about Trick, “Trick Williams, talk about a guy who has only been on national television for a very short period of time. I got to meet Trick at LaGuardia Airport, the best airport in New York, and we chopped it up a little bit. Got to hang out with him again recently at my friend Dip’s [Bryan Diperstein] party. He’s just a good guy. I like him. Great guy. Boatload of potential. Nothing bad to say there.”
