Ali no longer.
In name change news, Ali has regained his first name and is once again Mustafa Ali. The update has been reflected on WWE's website and Ali's social media. Ali even tweeted about the return of Mustafa. WWE shortened his name to just Ali in March. When asked about losing Mustafa, Ali said, "Mustafa means the "chosen one" with an emphasis on being chosen from amongst the people. Name or not, nothing has changed. I fight for the people. I am one of them."

Along with getting his first name back, Ali was also announced as part of Team SmackDown for WWE Survivor Series. As announced on WWE Backstage, Ali will join Roman Reigns, King Corbin, Shorty G, and Braun Strowman in representing the blue brand.
