Mustafa Ali vs. Ethan Page Set For WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown
Mustafa Ali picks up where he left off in WWE NXT.
Mustafa Ali confronted Ethan Page on the September 30 episode of WWE NXT. The TNA wrestler was making his return to NXT for the first time since his 2023 WWE release. He announced his departure from WWE on September 21, 2023, nine days before he was set to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at WWE NXT No Mercy.
He referenced his untimely release during his confrontation with Ethan Page. He spoke of his disappointment getting the phone call about his WWE status and then revealed that he would challenge Page for the gold at WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown.
