Myles Borne Reflects On Blindfold Match With Lexis King, ‘That Was A Fun Opportunity’
Myles Borne reflects on a big stipulation match.
On the August 26, 2025 episode of WWE NXT, Borne took on Lexis King in a Blindfold Match. With the huge advantage of Borne not being able to hear or see, King ended up winning that match.
The feud came to a end just a month later, with Borne getting his mojo back after defeating King in a Lights Out match.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Borne talked about the challenging match.
“Honestly, I sat there like, ‘Okay, I can’t hear. Now, I can’t see.’ I mean, it was a challenge. Lex was able to rely on the sounds of me moving around. One thing I learned growing up, I am not good at sneaking up on somebody. I am not good at being quiet. I think I’m quiet because I don’t hear it, but I’m heavy footed, I’m breathing too heavy, something. So I’m walking around and I’m realizing, oh my gosh, this is bad. I can’t see, I can’t hear. I had rely on the only sense I could which was touch. That was a different experience, something I never anticipated or thought I’d go through. It was fun at the same time, that was a fun opportunity and match. I really enjoyed it. That was different.”
