NARAKU Challenging Tony D’Angelo For NXT Championship At Great American Bash
The next challenger for the title is set, and it is NARAKU.
One of the bouts on the bill for the June 9th episode of WWE NXT on The CW was a singles match between NARAKU and Mason Rook. The winner of the bout would secure their spot at NXT Great American Bash on 6/28 to challenge for the NXT Championship.
During the singles bout, Kam Hendrix showed up, and his involvement distracted Rook. NARAKU capitalized on that and put Rook away to win the bout.
The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is now set to have his first title match in NXT. He will challenge Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship.
