Naraku On Why He Joined WWE: ‘Money, Status, And Honor’

Naraku reveals why he joined WWE.

WWE NXT’s Naraku and Iyo Sky recently announced their marriage to the world.

Speaking with Tokyo Sports recently, Naraku was asked if he still would’ve left New Japan Pro Wrestling to join WWE if his wife, Iyo Sky, had not been working there (translation via Mera Wrestling).

“I’ve already sufficiently made the Japanese pro wrestling world my own, haven’t I? In that sense, wasn’t there a very good chance of that happening?”

The wrestler then listed his reasons for joining WWE.

“Money, status, and honor.”
