Natalya believes that she's doing the best work of her career.
As of late, Natalya has split her time between Raw and NXT. In NXT, Natalya has shared a ring with Lola Vice on numerous occasions.
At NXT Spring Breakkin' Night Two, Natalya faced and lost to Lola Vice in a NXT Underground match.
While appearing on a recent episode of The Bump, Natalya said that she is doing the best work of her career, citing the match against Vice as proof.
“I said recently in an interview, I feel like right now, I’m doing the best work of my career, and that Underground match was what I was talking about. For me, it just felt like a game-changing match where it was a way for me to remind everybody of, as selfless as I am in helping others, I still want so much more, and I think that’s cool. I think every single woman and man in WWE needs so strive for more. Getting that opportunity at NXT and having that match with Lola was a dream come true because I was able to show hey, this MMA world isn’t really my world, but I’m gonna dive into it. It is more Lola’s world because that’s where she started, before she came to WWE. I not only gave her a run for her money, but I mean, if she didn’t have Shayna [Baszler] get involved, I would have beaten her."
Natalya went on to praise Vice, noting that she sees so much potential in her.
“As much as I didn’t appreciate Lola and her cheap tactics in winning, one thing I wanna say about Lola Vice though is that I see so much potential in her because she really, she has much personality, she’s got so much charisma. She’s got so much athletic ability, and at the end of the day, I really loved competing against her. I think that she brought out a side of me that I really needed to unleash. So for that, I do want to thank her. I think that she is somebody that will lead the women into the future of WWE if she can behave herself a little bit [laughs]"
