"The Queen Of Black Harts" talks everything WrestleMania.
Former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya posted her weekly blog onto the Calgary Sun recently. In this week's blog, she discussed the "Biggest Spectacle In Sports-Entertainment", WrestleMania. The big event is upon us and on Sunday it will be two short weeks away. Natalya is extremely excited about the event, stating that WrestleMania is like her Christmas.
"WrestleMania is like Christmas; it's my favourite time of year. More than 80,000 people from around the world will unite to celebrate WWE's pop culture extravaganza. There is so much going on to get excited about, like performing in front of a stadium full of people at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. It's hard to fathom sometimes how far this spectacle has come over the course of its 30-plus year history. And how can I forget the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, where we celebrate and honour legends from our past. I have five dresses picked out for that night because I'm not sure what I am going to wear. This year, we get to see so many incredible Superstars from the past be welcomed into immortality, including former WWE Women's Champion Ivory, former WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz, this year's Warrior Award recipient Jarrius (JJ) Robertson, Hillbilly Jim, Kid Rock and the iconic Bill Goldberg. I've already started the packing process, which right now consists of 11 pairs of shoes, five purses and mounds of accessories. "What would J-Lo wear?" has become my mantra."
The former WWE Divas Champion noted that she will be a part of the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and even gave a sneak peak to the gear she will be walking to the ring in.
"I'm also excited to be a part of the inaugural WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal. This year, there are several women's matches on the card, which is a testament to WWE's women's evolution. I can't wait to compete in a match with some of the very best women competitors in the world and walk down the ramp in front of a stadium full of people who share my same passion. Wait until you see my ring gear, made by the same seamstress who made every single outfit my dad ever wore at WrestleMania. Let's just say the catsuit I'll be wearing in New Orleans could rival Beyoncé's most fashionable pieces. And I'll give you a little inside information ? I'll be rocking more than 5,000 pink and black Swarovski crystals! After all, it is WrestleMania, where in the words of Rihanna, you've got to "shine bright like a diamond."
