Mae Young is one of the most notable women’s wrestlers of all time, and proved to be a trail blazer for future women’s wrestlers in WWE and around the world. She would continue to be a part of WWE programming, even into her old age, taking heavy bumps from the likes of The Dudley Boyz, who made a habit of putting her through tables.
While speaking to The Sportster’s Adam Barnard in a recent interview, Nattie spoke about wishing she had faced off with Mae Young in her prime, potentially in an Underground match.
“I would say if I could go back in time and wrestle somebody in their prime, I would have loved to have wrestled Mae Young in her prime, in her prime when she was a young girl. Because I heard my grandfather said she was a shooter, and she was just like- we could have done an underground match.”
