NBC's Young Rock Renewed For A Third Season

Young Rock has been renewed for a third season.

According to Variety, the popular series is based on the life of former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been given the green light for a third season. The show is currently in the midst of airing Season Two, as it airs every Tuesday on NBC at 8/7c. The first season of the series aired in the Spring of 2021.

One of the show's main storylines is The Rock's path into wrestling, which even sees wrestlers like Colt Cabana and Luke Hawx in roles of members of the WWF locker room. A recent episode of the show also portrayed a young version of Roman Reigns.

Season Three of Young Rock joins a crowded list of projects that Dwayne Johnson is currently tackling, as that list also includes Big Trouble in Little China, Doc Savage, San Andreas 2, The King, Red One, Black Adam and DC League of Super-Pets.
