Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods took some shots at Drew McIntyre.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) have been at odds in recent weeks. McIntyre threw a chair, and it accidentally hit Woods. Tensions have continued to rise ever since, and they boiled over after McIntyre walked out on Jey Uso as The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio) attacked him on the September 18 episode of WWE Raw.

McIntyre was the guest on Miz TV on the September 25 episode, and he was interrupted by Kingston and Woods. The duo noted that McIntyre acted like a coward, and "Big D" had some shrinkage. Woods also said that McIntyre's big sword was too limp to get the job done. McIntyre got heated and questioned why the duo were so willing to trust Jey Uso after everything he had down. The two sides went back and forth, and McIntyre said the time for talk was over.

He then faced Kingston in a singles match. They battled back and forth, but the arrival of Ivar swayed the outcome.Ivar attacked Woods at ringside, and when Kingston tried to help, McIntyre stopped him, hit him with a Claymore, and pinned the fan-favorite. He then walked away as Ivar attacked Kingston after the bell.
