The New Day Want To Be Heels Again But The Turn Must Be Organic

The New Day wants to be villains again.

Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods are beloved in the WWE Universe. It's been that way ever since 2016 when they turned babyface to go against names like the League of Nations and The Wyatt Family.

However, six years later, the group openly says to Metro that they are all willing to turn heel again as long as the conditions are right.

Xavier Woods, a beloved king, would enjoy kids hating them again.

"Yeah! One hundred percent – I’m a horrible person! It’s just super fun to scream at little kids, ’cause when we were heels before, our stuff would see kids getting legitimately mad and upset at us. It’s just so much fun to be snarky, to be rude and disliked. It’s great being cheered, and people pulling for us and being the good guys – both sides are really fun to play, but I wouldn’t be mad at it at all. We love that, we talk about it all the time!"

Big E added on to that but said he wants to turn to be organic.

"My feeling is: if we do turn, it feels organic and it feels natural again. Unfortunately, we’re in a position right now where our reactions are pretty damn good. So, I don’t see that happening any time soon, but who knows?’"

Kofi Kingston would go as far as to say the group fantasizes about turning heel again but people love their damn pancakes too much.

"To be honest, we fantasize about it all the time. I tell people that I had the most fun in my career when I was yelling at children, and threatening to ground children, and threatening children," he laughed. "I love that dynamic, it’s so much fun and we think about it all the time, but these people won’t stop cheering for us. These people like their pancakes and their Booty-Os too much."

They are so beloved that many were outraged when Big E lost his WWE Championship, much like Kofi Kingston did, to Brock Lesnar. Now, all three are without gold again but Xavier Woods is the King of the Ring.
