New IMPACT Wrestler Injured Before She Debuted On TV

Before she event made her national television debut, Shotzi Blackheart looks to be sidelined for quite some time.

RISE posted earlier this week that Shotzi had sustained an injury, which Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter would reveal was an ankle injury. The incident occurred on July 6 in Oakland, while she was competing for Hoodslam.

The tweet also indicated that Delilah Doom, another prominent independent wrestler, had also sustained an injury. Both women were forced off of their planned appearances for Stardom, but Shotzi was still angling for a spot on the Impact roster.

Blackheart came up short in her Impact debut, dropping a match that aired Thursday night to former Impact Knockouts Champion Allie.
