New MLP Canadian Champion To Be Crowned, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw Rematch Set For MLP Uprising 2026

St. Clair’s College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is playing host to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s ‘Uprising’ event on March 28th.

A new MLP Canadian Champion is going to be crowned at the show. The now former champion, Josh Alexander, can no longer defend the belt as he needs to undergo knee surgery. Alexander is signed to All Elite Wrestling.

Also on the bill for Uprising is Deonna Purrazzo challenging Gisele Shaw for the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship. At the MLP/ROH Global Wars show, Purrazzo successfully defended the ROH Women’s Pure Championship against Shaw.
