Finn Balor is the new NXT Champion.
In an "overtime bout" to kick off NXT Super Tuesday II, Balor defeated Adam Cole with a super 1916. Balor was able to overcome Cole working on his leg, a couple of superkicks, and the Last Shot during the closing stretch before putting Cole away.
With this victory, Balor is now the third man in NXT history to become a two-time NXT Champion.

The bout between Balor and Cole was a continuation of last Tuesday's fatal four-way Iron Man match, which ended up in a tie with Balor and Cole each having two victories apiece. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa ended with one fall each. Following the bout, NXT general manager William Regal announced Balor and Cole would be going to overtime. The title was declared vacant after an injury suffered to Karrion Kross.
