The ROH Tag Team Titles have changed hands.
On the February 28 episode of ROH Television, Dragon Lee & Kenny King captured the ROH Tag Team Titles when they defeated Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham in a Pure Rules tag team match. The finish saw Amy Rose distract the referee, which allowed Lee to hit Gresham with a closed-fist punch.
In a Pure Rules match, a closed-fist punch is illegal. The first punch comes with a warning and the second punch is a disqualification. The La Faccion Ingobernable duo of King & Lee had already used one of their illegal punches.
This marks the first reign for King & Lee as Tag Team Champions. Lee is the reigning Television Champion as well and their La Faccion Ingobernable stablemate RUSH is the reigning ROH World Champion.
The reign of Lethal & Gresham began at ROH Final Battle 2019 when they defeated The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe).
