It will be a lovely Valentine's Day for the NXT universe as NXT has announced that their next TakeOver will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
As of this writing, there is no determined setting or tagline for the event. In 1999, when WWE ran a pay-per-view on Valentine's Day, they used the name ?St. Valentine's Day Massacre.? It was at that event that Steve Austin faced Vince McMahon in a steel cage, The Rock and Mick Foley competed in the first-ever Last Man Standing match in WWE, and Big Show debuted in WWE after leaving WCW.
Recently, NXT has revived such events as Halloween Havoc, Great American Bash, and In Your House.
