Nia Jax's Opponent From Raw Was Only Seventeen Years Old

Nia Jax's opponent from Monday night was a seventeen-year-old rookie. 

On Monday Night Raw,  Nia Jax deposed of her opponent in about a minute. That opponent was Glory Pro trainee and Midwest independent wrestler Savanna Stone. The seventeen-year-old appeared on WWE television under the name Vanessa Floyd. A couple days after the match on Raw, Stone posted the following picture on Instagram.

Besides Jax, Stone has already faced wrestlers like Mia Yim, Kylie Rae, and Thunder Rosa. She has worked mainly in Illinois at places like Shimmer, Glory Pro, and Freelance Underground Wrestling. She holds at least one championship on the independent wrestling circuit. Her primary trainer was New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor's Michael Elgin

Stone has received dozens of tweets and Facebook posts since her appearance on WWE television. The messages came from people like Elgin, other wrestlers, and fans. Stone thanked everyone for their kind words but also said she learned a lot from the experience. 

After the match, Jax was interviewed about her match against Asuka at WWE Elimination Chamber. If she is victorious, she will be added to the championship match at Wrestlemania which Asuka earned by winning the Royal Rumble match.
