"This got real heat, for real. She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face first into the wall. He was hot. Real hot. They were having to hold him back, back there," said Lawler.

Jax attacked Truth during his Men's Royal Rumble entrance. Truth entered the Rumble at No. 30 but due to Jax's attack, was unable to compete. Jax took his place in the match. You can view video of the angle above.

Rajah.com reported that Truth suffered face and ankle injuries as a result of the attack. Truth did wrestle two nights later on SmackDown, winning the United States Title from Shinsuke Nakamura before defending it against Rusev. He continued to wrestle at live events over the weekend.

Nia initially addressed the reports on social media, saying, "Hahahaha!!!! You guys STAY talking about me!! Well since it’s super cold outside give me ALL THE HEAT."

Late Sunday night, she shared a few photos of herself and Truth backstage at WWE Royal Rumble.

Truth has yet to publicly comment on the incident.
