Nia Jax Talks Being A Role Model And Wrestlemania

Nia Jax appreciates her position in WWE but is ready for Wrestlemania 34.

In an interview with ESPN, Nia Jax described the criticisms she took about her physical appearance even during her modeling career. She said because of that, she has found pride in teaching young WWE fans to feel good about themselves.

"When I got to the WWE, I found out there were a lot of girls who looked up to me and that I was giving them confidence. I realized I'm not doing this just for me. I want my niece, who is already so much taller than the other kids, to grow up and realize nothing is wrong with her. If others think I am good with myself, they will in turn feel good about themselves," said Jax.

On Raw, Kurt Angle made a match between Jax and Alexa Bliss at Wrestlemania 34 for Bliss' Raw Women's Championship. Jax said Wrestlemania would be a great time for her to step up to the next level.

"I always think it's my time. But after all the hard work and time away from my family, it would mean so much more at Wrestlemania," said Jax.
