Nic Nemeth Wouldn’t Mind Seeing Matt Cardona Wrestle John Cena At MSG Episode of WWE Raw

Nic Nemeth wants John Cena to face some more of his old foes.

As of publish time, John Cena has four dates remaining with WWE before he retires from in-ring competition . Cena is set for the November 10 and November 17 editions of WWE Raw, Survivor Series: War Games, and Saturday Night’s Main Event in December.

Speaking with KVIA-ABC 7 for a new interview, Nemeth said that he wouldn’t mind seeing Cena mix it up with Matt Cardona or Batista again as his days wind down.

“I wouldn’t mind seeing — I know there’s a Madison Square Garden match, I wouldn’t mind seeing Matt Cardona show up representing New York. Then, when they get to DC, maybe Batista. Who knows, it could be anyone from the past or someone new.”

Aside from his work on the independent scene, Matt Cardona is currently with TNA Wrestling.

Batista has stated on multiple occasions that he is retired from wrestling after his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 35.

Elsewhere in the interview, Nemeth recalled facing John Cena in a Steel Cage match at a Madison Square Garden live event in 2012. Check out his full comments on the matter here.
