Nick Aldis Officially Defending NWA World Heavyweight Championship Against Cody Rhodes At All In

Nick Aldis has held onto the Championship long enough to make it to All In.

When NWA owner Billy Corgan announced that the NWA World Heavyweight Championship would be defended at All In, he stated that the Champion Nick Aldis would need to hold onto the title to earn his way onto the All In card.

Aldis continued his "Aldis Crusade" where he defended the Championship all over the world. It seemed that a couple threads from All In came together at a Ring of Honor event in Nashville, Tennessee when Aldis defended his Championship against Flip Gordon who had tried multiple times to get booked for All In.

With Gordon out of the way, the Twitter accounts for All In and NWA finally shared the following announcement along with the familar All In style graphic.

All In takes place on September 1st in the Sears Centre Arena near Chicago, Illinois and already has a few matches scheduled including the six-man tag team match with Rey Mysterio, Bandido, and Fenix taking on the Golden Elite's Kota Ibushi and the Young Bucks.

The matches scheduled can be seen in this tweet from the All In Twitter account.

Fightful Wrestling will have coverage of the event up to and the day of the card.
