Nick Aldis To Wrestle Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Carlito On WWC Show In Puerto Rico

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is coming to Puerto Rico.

At the start of the March 1 episode of WWC Superestrellas de la Lucha Libre (Superstars of Wrestling), Aldis cut a promo saying he will go to Puerto Rico and wrestle Carlito Colon in a special WWC vs. NWA match at a WWC show on March 14.

Carlito wrestled for WWE for nearly a decade, capturing a number of titles, including the United States and Intercontinental Championships. Since then, Carlito has wrestled for a number of promotions, but primarily stuck with Puerto Rico's WWC.

Aldis has held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship since he defeated Cody at the NWA 70th Anniversary Show back in October 2018, his second title win. Aldis, who last wrestled at the ROH Free Enterprise show in February, is currently in a feud with Marty Scurll and the two will face off for Aldis' title at the Crockett Cup on April 19.

Among the other matches that will take place is a TLC match for the WWC Universal Championship between Orlando Colon (who is Epico on WWE's roster) and Gilbert as well as a match between "El Leon" Apolo and Eddie Colon (who is Primo on WWE's roster).
