Nick Hogan Says Hulk Hogan Biopic Is Still Possible

In February 2019, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would play the role of Hulk Hogan for an upcoming biopic.

The project seemingly never got off the ground and now appears to be dead.

Following the success of “Real American,” the four-part Netflix documentary on Hogan, Hulk’s son Nick Hogan was asked about a biopic potentially being revived in some form.

“I definitely think there is potential for that. I think there is absolutely potential. When all that talk was happening with Chris Hemsworth, I thought that was cool because I’m a huge Chris Hemsworth fan. I love the Thor movies and all his projects. He’s an excellent actor. His phsyique and the way he looks, he would play a great Hulk Hogan. That would be really cool. Even if it wasn’t him, or if it was a different project, I think there is a lot of meat on the bone for his story to be told in that way and I would really love to see that. I think it’s definitely possible,” Nick said on 83 Weeks.

Eric Bischoff added, “I got a call from a guy by the name of Scott Silver a while back, and I think you’re right, it could be possible.”

The original project had Bischoff named as one of the producers, and Todd Phillips, Scott Silver, and John Pollono reportedly set to co-write the film.

Elsewhere during the interview, Nick commented on a potential in-ring career. You can find his full comments here.
