Nick Jackson: Try To Enjoy Us While We're Still In NJPW, We Don't Have Much Time Left

NJPW officially added The Young Bucks to the IWGP Tag Team Title bout at Wrestle Kingdom 13. The move was met with some criticism as fans felt it devalued the World Tag League, which the Bucks did not participate in. EVIL & SANADA won the 2018 World Tag League, setting them up for an IWGP Tag Team Title shot against Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa on Jan. 4.

Instead, it will be a triple threat bout with Loa & Tonga defending against EVIL & SANADA and the Young Bucks. Nick Jackson took to social media to address the criticism and drop another tease on the duo's future.

The Bucks are scheduled to be free agents at the start of next year. They recently split from the Bullet Club, a trademark that NJPW has control over, to form the Elite. Last month, they filed trademarks on All Elite Wrestling, leading many to believe the group will be forming their own wrestling company in 2019. Appearing The Wrestling Perspective podcast, the brothers stated that the trademarks were filed as a way to "protect themselves."

In the same podcast, the Bucks discussed their upcoming free agency. You can read full quotes from that podcast here
